As a dad to three children, I’ve spent years watching them grow up surrounded by towering mountains of plastic gadgets, items that promised the world but usually lost their magic after a week or two. That growing frustration was quite real: so many toys claimed to foster creativity, yet so few were made with any real care for the planet or built to be durable heirlooms.

Tollers, our ancient, beloved wooden rocking horse, which has now been lovingly passed down through four generations of my family, sparked an idea!

Over twenty little ones have ridden him, painted him, had him mended, and inevitably squabbled over whose turn it was next. He’s still going strong today, delightfully creaky and absolutely wonderful, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that toys can last a lifetime if they’re just made properly. That rocking horse didn't just inspire us; it gave us our name. Tollers means finding toys that carry a story, toys that connect generations, and every product we select echoes that spirit: simple, honest, and enduring.
